When Hurricane Harvey hit Texas many people in America and across the world came together to help. Kids Cures Foundation is proud to say that 149 boxes of donated items have been successfully delivered to Catholic Charities USA in Beaumont Texas. Many people in our communities donated items such as blankets, clothing, toiletries, food, baby clothes, and other various items. Thank you CHP Officer Perez, AP Enterprises, Post 633 Explorers, Anytime Fitness, Residents of Sunlakes, Pass Area and beyond! The amount of support we have received was incredible, with people driving from different towns to collect items for Texas.
The support among social media was also incredible, people donated online and helped fund our purchase of a rental to get donations to Texas. Kids Cures Foundation was able to fill up 12 pallets full of items stacked 5-6 feet tall. With the help of volunteers we were able to have the items directly loaded from our warehouse on the commercial trailer and straight to those in need. Above is a photo of the Charity receiving all the boxes of donations. It has been a journey to get all donations to Texas, and we have completed the mission!
