On July 22 our volunteers came out to help feed people in our communities with our Cure Hunger Now Food Bags. Inside these bags were canned goods, bread, cheese, various meats, noodles, mashed potatoes and more. Each bag can feed a whole family and a few more! Our bags are packed by the Pass Resource Center volunteers, and they are the sweetest people in the world. Along with volunteers from our organization we all came together earlier this week to pack our Non-perishable items into bags.
Friday night we loaded our truck with over 250 bags, easily filling our U-HAUL. Then the following morning we all met up to load cheese, bread and other fresh items into the truck. If you arrived early you were able to receive meat and bread, we always say early birds get the worm at our Outreaches! So make sure that you are there August 26 at Repplier Park, 10-1p while supplies last! We want to thank all of our volunteers who helped make this outreach possible, see you next month!
