Every year we hold a Christmas Party for local families in our communities. These families requested Holiday Assistance through kidscures.org. We invite kids and parents to see some very special guests. This Christmas Party features Mr. and Mrs. Claus, and lots of presents from your donations to the North Pole. Our toys are collected at special donation locations and prepared by Elves for Santa.
Many sponsors helped this year with toy donations, a donation location or volunteering: PEP Pool & Electrical Products Inc, Wal-Mart, Anytime Fitness, Beaumont Copy and Print, Brianna Presley, Bill Dickson, Vicki Grunewald, Kohl’s Cares, Breecie O’Neal & Family, Beaumont Cherry Valley Recreation and Park District and many more!
Gracious people all over our communities donated toys and more to bless families this Christmas. Each toy is so special because it came from love, kindness and the spirit of Christmas.
Kids got to see Santa and receive their toys along with a teddy bear donated by Kay Jewlers. Families got to have a one on one with December’s most popular couple. Each family received toys from Santa and a candy cane from Mrs. Claus. Kids smiled and posed for photos to remember this very special day. Toys went home with each child making their day and their Christmas.
Seeing families smile and receive their gifts made volunteers feel good. If you donated a toy or helped in any way we would like to Thank You! You helped to make Christmas special for families in our communities. Remember that toy overflow goes to Children in the Hospital all year long making 2018 even more special through Operation Santa.
