Did you know that our Cure Hunger Now food outreaches are every month? We can always use some volunteers to help hand bags out, carry bags to cars, and more. Recently our February 24th Outreach fed many families with 300 bags passed out. Each bag is packed by volunteers throughout the week. Thanks to Beaumont Pass Resource Center, as well as other volunteers.
Beans, rice, noodles, meat, bread, cheese, soup and more were inside our bags. Each is packed to the top to insure families are able to make a few meals out of each bag. This program has fed thousands of families over the years. Even when it’s over our volunteers don’t stop! Janet, John and Roger take bags to families in Cabazon and White Water California. These families don’t have transportation and are struggling to make ends meet. Such a blessing for these people, and another example of how Volunteers make it Happen.
Our next Banning Outreach is March 24th, 10a at Repplier Park while supplies last. Click here to sign up to volunteer for this program or any other program that might fit your lifestyle.
