Kids Cures Foundation has brought thousands of bags to children in the hospital over the years. This month of June we visited children with the help of volunteers and Kohl’s Cares volunteers. Together we went room by room with the help of Princess Belle, Spider-Man and Captain America! Our friends have been dedicated to visiting kids to create some very special moments.
There’s nothing like your favorite neighborhood super hero Spider-Man visiting you and helping go through your Comfort Build-a-Bag. Each kid got their own special bag and time with characters. These bags are designed for kids to get their mind off of treatments and onto some fun. Toys are inside with coloring books, stuffed animals and various items. No Comfort Build-a-Bag is ever the same.
Volunteers and donors make it possible, when our Comfort Build-a-Bag program started it was just two volunteers delivering bags.
