At the Kids Cures Foundation, one of our programs is Cure Hunger Now. This program is partnered with Feeding America to bring quality food to families. Every second Saturday of the month is the Beaumont food outreach at 1310 Oak Valley Parkway Beaumont, CA 92223 9AM! Next Door to the Albert A. Chatigny Senior Community Center in the over flow parking lot. Every last Saturday of the month is the Banning Cure Hunger Now food outreach at Repplier Park 749 N San Gorgonio Ave, Banning, CA 92220. All outreaches are from 9-11a but only while supplies last. Dates are subject to change, you can check kidscures.org or our social media pages for updates.
At both outreaches families received USDA meat, canned goods, and more. Banning’s outreach included fruits, veggies, shrimp, bread, butter and other various items. Families received boxes filled to the top with food, which will help them create many meals.
Volunteers from Venture Church, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and Kids Cures helped make both outreaches happen. Volunteers helped load cars at Beaumont, while Volunteers helped people to their cars at Banning. Each outreach requires a lot of help, if you would like to volunteer please sign up here!
Partner Carol’s Kitchen brought clothes for families to check out and take home if needed. Their program Carol’s Closet provides clothing to those in need. Together we helped feed and provide clothes to hundreds of people.
