March Comfort Build-a-Bag Delivery

Our Comfort Build-a-Bag program provides various items to Children in the hospital during their most difficult times. Due to Covid restrictions our program has been safely delivering toys to nurses outside the hospital. Soon we hope to be back with characters to help deliver full Comfort Build-a-Bag’s. When back to normal, children will receive customized bags fit to their conditions and age.

This trip once again brought great items to Kaiser Fontana, like coloring books, art sets, puzzles, toys and so much more. These items will take some focus off of treatments and onto some fun. Volunteers from Kids Cures and Kohls Cares bagged everything up, and delivered to nurses. Nurses will ensure each toy/item is safely disinfected, and passed out to each child. Since COVID-19 our Comfort Build-a-Bag program has been affected by the limits placed on it. However, our team continues to drop off to nurses, keeping the mission alive. We hope to be back inside hopefully later this year.

Thank you to our sponsors of Comfort Build-a-Bag, together we bring great joy to children.
