For 10 years our Cure Hunger Now Program has provided hundreds of thousands of meals to families in our communities. Our Community Food Outreaches provide USDA quality food from our partner Feeding America and other sponsors. On May 28, at Repplier Park in Banning we held our monthly food outreach once again. At this outreach we had various meats, frozen peas, cheese, bread, oatmeal, canned pork, milk, beans, canned goods, mac and cheese and other various items.
Volunteers from the Kids Cures Foundation, and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints all came out to help load, pack, and pass out food to families. After the outreach volunteers enjoyed delicious oatmeal provided by volunteer, Jaunita Diaz. At this outreach we fed hundred’s of people with our food bags. Each bag provides more than one meal from breakfast with oatmeal, to grilled cheese, and spaghetti; and they provide a variety of items to mix and match meals.
Thank you to all of our volunteers, sponsors, and donors. If you or anyone you know is in need of food please direct them to our food outreaches. You can check upcoming dates here:
