Santa Visits the Banning Cure Hunger Now Community Food Outreach and Families Receive Food

Our Cure Hunger Now Community Food Outreaches are held twice a month for anyone in need of food assistance. December’s outreaches went really well for the Christmas season. Families lined up to receive quality USDA food, meat, bread, fresh apples, and more. Both outreaches gave out toys while supplies lasted, but Banning had a special guest… Santa!

Santa came all the way down from the North Pole to help give out toys to children in need. Santa drove over in a specially decked-out fire truck. It was Christmas magic for those in line. Each child received a toy and a special photo with Santa!

Merry Christmas to all of our volunteers, sponsors, and supporters. You have all truly made this year one of our best yet! With so many new volunteers and great memories made, we thank you so much for everything.
