Our Comfort Build-a-Bag Program provides children in the hospital with items to help them get through this scary and uncertain time. This program allows children to get their minds off of treatments and onto some fun. Toys, stuffed animals, and blankets are just some of the few items kids will receive.
Volunteers from Kohl’s Cares help on these very special visits, and our friends Spider-Man, Belle, and Stitch also join in on visits. Volunteers make it happen, and each Comfort Build-a-Bag visit is special. On this visit, Spider-Man gave out a Spider-Man stuffed animal to a young boy that was elated and surprised.
Characters get one-on-one moments with kids, and when it’s your favorite neighborhood hero like Spider-Man or even Stitch, kids never forget these impactful visits.
