Comfort Build-a-Bag visits help children during medical treatments with surprise visits from characters and volunteers. Each child receives items that fit their medical condition(s) and personal interests. Items like toys, stuffed animals, blankets, coloring books, reading books, and board games get delivered.
Volunteers make it happen by visiting room to room, and surprising kids. On this visit, children received really nice blankets, stuffed animals like Stitch, and more. We moved from room to room surprising kids. Our list included two discharges this time, and we are so happy kids got to return home.
Super Mario and Belle returned bringing smiles and joy with them. Thank you Kohl's Cares, volunteers, and donors for making this possible. We cannot wait to visit again soon! Stay tuned.
