Volunteers come together to feed our communities

Every last Saturday of the month we hold our Cure Hunger Now Community Food Outreach at Repplier Park in Banning. At February's outreach families received various quality food items such as bread, chips, canned goods, meat, pastries, tortillas, oatmeal, beans, rice and more (see photos below) ! Cure Hunger Now outreaches are first come first serve, and only while supplies last. Our friends at Carol’s Kitchen joined us to give out free clothing to families in need. Families were able to grab their food bags and then check out their booth to find clothing. When we come together, we make a difference in our communities.

Kids Cures volunteers came together with the Center of Hope, Set Free, City Bridge and Venture Church to make this outreach happen. From loading the trailer, to bagging and passing out food to families; volunteers make it happen! Volunteers will even help carry bags to vehicles if needed, going above and beyond. We appreciate you all so much! It takes a lot of work to make our outreaches happen, and together we can move mountains.

Remember to follow us on social media like twitter and facebook for updates. Check here for updated outreach dates for Banning and Beaumont.
