Santa and Friends Visit Kids in the Hospital for this Month’s Christmas Visit!

Our Comfort Build-a-Bag visits bring joy all year long to Children fighting their battles in the Hospital. Our Operation Santa Christmas Toy Drive brings amazing toys for kids all year long. When our toy drive is over toys that weren’t given out to families or children in the Hospital get saved and go out all year long. At our Foundation Comfort Build-a-Bag visits are always special, but this time around two people came down from the North Pole, Mr. and Mrs. Claus!

It was a magical morning for kids as Mr. and Mrs. Claus came to visit them. On top of the excitement from Santa, Captain America, Princess Belle and Spider-Man came back to help us bring joy to Children. Bags were filled with wrapped gifts, stuffed animals, blankets and more! Teens received Gift Cards and cool wrapped gifts. Each bag is always crafted towards each child’s age, condition and what they’re into.

We visited each room together with the help of Kohl’s Cares and our volunteers. Each helped hold and organize Comfort Build-a-Bag's and gifts from Santa. Belle greeted little girls with her grace and poise, and we even got to visit a kid as he was able to be released to go home. He took photos with everyone and went home with a Comfort Build-a-Bag from Santa.

A young girl who loved Spider-Man on our last visit was surprised to see us again with her favorite super hero and Santa! She gave her father huge hugs and the magic really happens here, this young girl would have never thought Santa would come just to see her, and that her favorite hero would visit her again.

Christmas brings excitement to kids and teens especially when it comes early. All the items inside each bag were donated by members of our communities, sponsors and donors. Thank you to everyone who donated because you truly are the spirit of Christmas. Coming together to bring smiles and joy to Children is exactly what our Comfort Build-a-Bag program strives for, and we do it all year long, making this the last visit of 2017. A year where our bags have become bigger, better and we thank you all, this program has blessed so many Children.

Merry Christmas!
