Beanies, Toys, Blankets and more get dropped off for Children to enjoy at the Hospital

Our Comfort Build-a-Bag program brings unique bags filled with various items like toys, blankets, coloring books and so much more! Comfort Build-a-Bag is designed to do just that, bring comfort and fun.

Since the COVID-19 pandemic we have not been able to resume our regular visits with Spider-Man and other characters. Instead toys are delivered by each child’s nurse/doctor. On the last visit we were able to enter inside the hospital, read about it here. We are not able to bring characters, but we hope to be back as soon as possible. Instead volunteers are able to come to the front of the hospital and leave the toys with nurses.

On this visit we delivered various toys and blankets. Items included cool vinyls to paint, toys to play with, and blankets to lay with. Long time volunteer Mary Stanfield made some gorgeous beanies for kids, these were individually bagged and safely delivered. If you would like to donate visit here. Thank you to all our sponsors and donors. We hope to have this program back to normal as soon as possible. Know someone that makes costumes? Looks like a super hero and or Princess?
