Here at the Kids Cures Foundation our main goal is to help touch the lives of as many children as we can. With our Comfort Build-a-Bag visits, we help children going through various medical treatments. Our bags help them get their minds off of treatments and onto some fun in their room with family and friends. This February it’s all about love, and our friends Snow White, Princess Belle, Spider-Man and Captain America brought Valentine’s to each child.
One family emailed us after to tell us how much joy our visit brought them. Their child played with their toys all afternoon, and the whole mood was changed in that room. Comfort Build-a-Bag visits are personal, special and magical. Remember that many toys from our 2018 10th Annual Operation Santa Christmas Toy Drive and Sparks of Love continue to bring joy and fun to children all year long.
Mickey and Minnie Mouse stuffed animals were given out to children, and who doesn’t love Mickey and Minnie? On top of our favorite mouses—many children received various items and toys. Toys help kids get their minds off of stress and onto some fun healing. This Comfort Build-a-Bag visit was just a few days before Valentine’s Day. Our team of Kohl’s Cares and Kids Cures volunteers did an amazing job like always and our Superhero/Princess team made handmade cards. Each card was different and each card was made with tons of love.
And with all this fun and love packed into one bag, it leads to hours of healing and even days. Our sponsors and donors make all of this possible, and if you would like to donate please visit here. Want to volunteer for a Comfort Build-a-Bag visit? Sign up here, space is very limited.
Thank you to our volunteers that make it happen and Kohl’s Cares volunteers that go above and beyond to help us complete our missions!
Thank you for Believing in Us!
