For over a decade our Operation Santa Christmas Toy Drive has provided Children in the hospital with thousands of toys and items to help children get through treatments. Toys get delivered throughout the year bringing quality toys all year long. Combined with our Comfort Build-a-Bag program volunteers help deliver and hand out bags and items.
On this visit Belle wore her Winter Coat, and Mario Came with Christmas items in hand! Each Child received a blanket and toys this visit. Santa could not make it, but promises to be back next year! Kohls Cares volunteers lended a helping hand to Belle and Mario. Thank you to Kohls Cares and the O’neal family. Since COVID-19 it has been hard on the program, and we are still following strict COVID-19 protocols such as testing before each visit. 2022 was the first time we were allowed back inside the pediatrics ward since the pandemic.
